Eurobike: DMR, Chromag & Answer

September 10th, 2012

By Factory Jackson in Tech

Choice is a fantastic thing sometimes, but with so many rad brands producing great bits of kit for our bikes, it can be a real mine field trawling through it all. But that’s what were here for; delivering only the best of the best. Eurobike is a monster and one that no mere mortal can tame, but we’ve got even more product related content coming this week from that big show so let’s get things started…

DMR’s Vault has been nothing more than a massive success and to keep that grippy CNC’d ball rolling into 2013, they’ve introduced the new Brendon Fairclough signature pedal, ‘The Brendog’. Featuring the same shape as the standard Vault pedal, DMR have splashed a special coat of matte black anodizing and finished things off with some Gloss black graphics, axle and pins for a stealthy look…

Included with the pedals is an extra set of new ‘moto-pins’ and a torx drive spanner to fit them. These new pins are more aggressive for extra grip and have a bigger contact area on the pedal at the ‘root’ of the pin for strength and provide a bit more tuning of the grip level/ pedal feel. The Brendog pedals will retail for £109.99  [£10 more than the standard pedals].

Chromag are still small in the UK and Europe, but I’ve got a feeling that might be changing next year… With a solid range of, err, solid bike components, Chromag oozes cool and with stems like the Ranger pictured below they should definitely be on your radar in 2013!

For all you DHers out there, the Chromag Director is where you need to be looking and available in more colours than you shake a stick at!

With three individual bars in their range and with each one available in a whole host of colours and finishes, Chromag have got your handlebar needs covered. Seriously cool stuff right here…

We reviewed the Answer Pro-Tapers last year and loved them – light as hell and as strong as f… 2013 is more of the same, but with a whole host of new colours and graphics wraps which really make these bars jump out at you!
