Nukeproof Launch Prototype Dirt Jump Frame
May 17th, 2012

Less than a month after Nukeproof debuted their new Rook slopestyle frame, they bring us more news of yet another new prototype frame, this time a steel dirt jump offering. The new frame will be unveiled at this week’s iXS Dirt Masters Festival in Winterberg, Germany and by all accounts (check the pics below) looks spot geo wise on and like everything they do, well thought out and good looking. With the race market wrapped up with their stupidly popular Scalp, Mega and Snap, they see to have their eyes set firmly on capturing exactly what the freestyle market is really after now too. The whirlwind continues…
An ongoing development project with newly signed Nukeproof rider Jack Fogelquist, the frame uses custom triple-butted steel tubing with a 44mm headtube, gold anodised alloy chain tension adjusters, an integrated gold alloy seat clamp and removable cable guides.
Part of Nukeproof’s increased investment in Freestyle Mountain Biking: Jack Fogelquist.
The frame, available in regular and long, is designed around a 100mm travel fork and uses geometry based on Jack’s personal setup. Priced at around the £350 mark we’ll be unveiling the full production model at this year’s Eurobike show.
You can get a sneak peak of the prototype version of the frame at this week’s iXS Dirt Masters Festival in Winterberg, Germany. For more information head to the Dirt Masters website
