Renthal: Prototype Integra +10mm Stem

February 14th, 2012

By Factory Jackson in Tech

After the successful launch of the Integra direct mount stem at the end of last year, Renthal have reacted to feedback from their athletes and are developing a new Integra stem with a 10mm rise. Matt Wragg snapped this beauty on a recent visit to Renthal’s HQ in the UK. This new design isn’t set to replace the current Integra, but merely offer the option of running your bike with a higher front end and a set up preferred on the steeper courses found on the world cup tour.

Here’s a shot of Sam Hill’s bike from last year. The Monster Energy/ Specialized team ran a 10mm spacer under their stem as well as running 38mm bars to give their riders an optimized position for attacking the nasty courses found overseas.
