Marin 2017 Mountain Bikes – the pick of the crop
It’s that time of year again – and Marin are one of the first brands to show off their range for next year.
With 9 models in their off road range, and two of the hard tail models available in both 29in and 27.5in wheels – there is a hell of a lot of variety. You can get involved with Marin 2017 MTB range for as little as £375 for the Bolinas Ridge – or top out at £5000 with the Attack Trail; Rift Zone and Mount Vision Carbon Pro models…

Rift Zone 8
The Rift Zone is the short travel 29in trail blazer, and there are five models in the range starting at £1600, topping out at £5000.

Pine Mountain 1 27.5+
The Pine Mountain is the 27.5in+ hardtail with a nod to the original Pine Mountain hardtail. There are three models from £800 – £2000.

Attack Trail 8
This Enduro craving trail slayer features 150mm of travel and is part of a three model range from £1800 for the Alloy framed Attack Trail 7 to the Carbon framed Attack Trail Pro Carbon at £5000. For 2017, Alloy frames (7 and 8) receive new longer, lower and slacker revised geometry – which has been lead by direct feedback with the UK development riders.

The 140mm travel Mount Vision is the main trail bike in the Marin 2017 range – and has models starting with Alloy frames from £1600 up to £5000 for the Pro Carbon model. Geometry has been revised on the Alloy models for 2017 – with a longer wheelbase and tweaked numbers to suit the modern longer, lower and slacker vision of the trail bike.
