Mustard Bikes – hand made beauty from Prestige Cycles

We saw some lovely bikes at Bespoked show, but one of the nicest was this beauty from Prestige Cycles.

Mustard Bikes

Bespoked hand made cycle show is a great place to see brands like Mustard Bikes.

Designed by Stephen Roche, Mustard Bikes make cost effective, hand made titanium frames that are exclusive to Prestige Cycles – the South Coast bike specialist.

Despite carbon fibre being the fashionable material right now in mountain biking, Titanium is still the frame material that makes people look twice.

There’s something desirable about Titanium that other materials just don’t have – the look; the exclusivity; the comfortable ride that not even steel can compete with, and of course the stunning look.

The fact that the material doesn’t corrode and looks amazing in it’s raw form attracted Stephen, along with it’s lightweight and resilient attributes. But due to the fact Titanium is notoriously tricky to work with, the price has always kept it out of reach for many riders.

Mustard Bikes are the result of Stephen’s work to build a no-compromise Titanium frame – at a reasonable cost. Mustard Bikes are available in both standard and custom options, and are hand made in Italy using Dedacciai tubing and Paragon Machine Works parts.

Paragon Machine works drop outs are stunning – and are fully compatible with the set up you want thanks to the intricate and interchangeable system.

Frame weight for this display model is approx 3.8lbs. It’s specced with Paragon Machine Works Polydrop drop outs, and head tube – and retails for £1699 with the geometry that you want.

A standard model retails for £1299 – making it somewhat of a bargain.

We love Titanium frames – there’s something timeless about them. Buy the right one, and you’ll have a Titanium bike for life…
