Santa Cruz Bikes – Paint Dept.

September 5th, 2012

Ever wondered how you Santa Cruz was prepped, painted, stickered and built? Check this video out from Bike Skills and see the process from start to finish – “Victor runs Santa Cruz’s powder coating operation, including SC’s new CCCP (custom colors) program. We spent two days with Willie and Joe watching real deal craftsman take our beat-up 6 year-old Kawasaki Green Blur LT2 and turn it in to a purple people eating masterpiece.

And over those two days we were blown away not just by how much time and effort went in to the transformation, but at how cool Victor and Joe were and what a great vibe Santa Cruz puts out – from the inside out. No wonder Outside Magazine rated Santa Cruz Bicycles one of the best places in America to work. Thanks again to Santa Cruz Bicycles, especially Willie B, Victor, and Joe for taking care of us.” So rad!
