I don’t think I was the only one looking at this event from the outside with a little scepticism, but you only have to watch this video to see how wrong you can be. Taking bicycle racing back to where it started, not a corn field, but back to it being fun and stripping away some of the things that can get in the way of loosing yourself on a bike with your buddies – “The first ever downhill dual slalom event through a corn field. Riders battled it all day for £1000 in cash and to win a custom made Charge Cooker.” Fingers crossed they’ll more of these real soon!
