Mondraker 2013: Forward Geometry

July 15th, 2012

Mondraker have been been pushing the limits of frame geometry over the last few years and 2013 sees the introduction of another evolutionary step for their radical approach to the numbers game. The Spanish brand will be launching a new geometry concept focused on its core range of mountain bikes, known as Forward Geometry.

This new layout of the frame represents some major leaps in understanding the needs of today’s rider and looks like it will offer up some clear advantages compared with a traditional geometry, especially with the aggressive rider in mind. All of these benefits are focused to improve the control, handling and riding confidence and I’m sure the fun factor too. Everyone’s favourite Frenchman, Fabien Barel has plaid a key role in the development of the Forward Geometry design and gives a thorough explanation about the new geometry in this video. Enjoy!
