A few years ago two crazy euro’s turned up at a World Cup with a strange looking RC helicopter with a camera on it and produced some amazing footage with it descending the course to then fly through the different teams pit areas. Things have seemingly moved on in and in a relatively short space of time as you can now buy something very similar form these guys –  http://www.ardrone2.com Can’t imagine they’d be too good in wooded areas or in high winds or rain, but out in the Alps or Canada, with the weather on your side and where there’s some room to breath, well I think you could produce some pretty special footage. Prices are around the £200 mark and certainly cheaper than a GoPro and in the right hands… Imagination is a wonderful thing!
