Danny Hart: At the Top and Sent it Sideways
September 4th, 2011
By Factory Jackson in Features
At the end of last year, when this site was a mere few weeks old, we interviewed Danny Hart. The interview was rather aptly named, ” Going to the Top and Sending it Sideways” with an opening shot from Jacob Gibbins featuring Danny sailing down a certain track in Switzerland. Today, at that same track on that same mountain, Danny Hart utterly obliterated the competition by over 11 seconds in torrential rain, down a mashed up track and with the eyes of the world on him. Today marked the day Danny got to the top and in typical Danny style, sent it sideways. 2011 was only a taster of what’s to come from the young Englishman and what happened today was merely been a matter of when and how.
We are extremely proud and honoured to have Danny as a blogger on Factory Jackson, as we are of all of our contributors who I am sure, are all beyond stoked on todays results. Today also brought us more awesome news with Troy Brosnan blitzing the Juniors with a time that would have got him silver in the Elites and Brendan Fairclough, who after a difficult year, only narrowly missed out on the podium. An amazing finish to an amazing year. Roll on 2012.
