Incorporated 360fly smart camera can warn of collisions
BRG (Bell, Riddel, Giro) Sports have announced a partnership with 360fly, the helmet camera manufacturer that makes the incredible 360 view cameras.
The already impressive Bell Super 2R is the Bell MTB helmet that takes advantage of the camera, which offers some incredible functions!
Here are the main things you need to know about the Bell Super 2R with the 360fly camera:
- Helmet features removeable jaw guard
- 360fly 3600 4K camera is integrated in to the helmet shell
- 360fly camera can also shoot conventional 16:9 footage
- There is a proprietary smart phone App, with an interface that enables users to instantly edit and share content to platforms such as Facebook and YouTube
- The camera shoots up to 2880 x 2880 and 30frames per second
- There is a built in GPS sensor for geotagging; a barometer/altimeter and accelerometer
- Built in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
- Two hours battery life
- New technologies already planned for inclusion include Autopilot action tracking; Collision Avoidance Alert and Live Streaming.

In addition to the safety that the impressive Bell Super 2R offers, 360fly have developed four amazing features that will help change the way riding is documented and adds a huge safety feature:
Auto Pilot Tracking
Allows users to track and follow the main subjects in their videos, making it easy to create dynamic edits with the rider at the centre of it all.
Collision Avoidance Alert
Senses and automatically notifies the rider of potential oncoming dangers that are outside the rider’s natural field of vision.
Live Streaming
For professional, commercial or advanced users looking to live stream
Highlight Reel
An auto-editing function that compiles a 1-2-minute highlight reel based on the specific sections of video that feature the most action.
