Marin celebrate 30years

Founded in 1986 from mountain biking’s birth place, Marin Bikes have pumped out some truly iconic bikes in the past – like their two tone mountain bikes bikes that featured the heavy duty grey rubberised paint on the main frame, with coloured fork, stem and graphics.

30 years on, and Marin have a huge range of bikes that suit all kinds of riders – ranging from urban commuting bikes to gravel racers and enduro race bikes. In the 2016 Marin mountain bikes range, there are three main models of  full suspension bike – the Rift Zone 29er; Mount Vision 27.5 trail bike and Attack Trail enduro bike. There is a full hard tail range too, including the special Heritage 27.5+ hardtail…

 

Pine Mountain

There are two models in the Pine mountain range, both of which feature steel frames and come with the new 27.5+ wheel size. Here are the main points and prices:

Rift Zone Pro

The Rift Zone is the 29in wheel trail bike, featuring 110mm of travel out back, paired with a 120mm travel fork – there are two alloy models, and four carbon fibre models.

  3. Custom down tube protection on Carbon models
  4. Internal cable routing on Carbon models

Mount Vision Pro

The Mount Vision is the do-it-all trail bike. Light enough for XC, tough enough for all day abuse – and it’s been a staple in the Marin range from the early days.

  3. 140mm travel front and rear
  4. Suspension from Bos, Fox and Rockshox
  5. Custom down tube protection

Attack Trail Pro

The name says everything you need to know about the Attack Trail – it’s for hitting stuff as hard as you can, and is based on a 150mm travel platform that offers big bump capabilities in a build that’s perfect for enduro racing – or simply for tearing the back side out of your favourite trails.
