Summertime tunes

Keeping with the summer time tunes, this great mix from DJ Andy Smith has a pretty eclectic mix of Funk, Disco, Boogie, Old School Hip Hop and some early House tunes – all mixed 100% on vinyl by Andy himself.

In the mix there are a bunch of absolute classics, including More Bounce to the Ounce by Zapp; Get up and Dance by Freedom; Humpty Dump by Vibrattes and Peter Piper by Run DMC. There’s also a few amazing early house tunes, like I’ll be your friend by the iconic Robert Owens.

Boombox is a night held at The Horse and Groom  in Shoreditch, London on the last Saturday of every month – and is well worth checking out if you’re local or are in town.

ExclusiveShimano XT 11 speed drivetrain review

We’ve been running the Shimano XT 11 speed drivetrain for 5 months now, and have had nothing but perfect shifting. OK, so we don’t like how the rear mech looks and would prefer the shifter to offer double shifts both ways, but it’s damned good.
