Scott Beaumont To Race Enduro in 2014 With Yeti Cycles

Look out for Scott and Dave at the Gravity Enduro events this year.

Yeti Cycles UK Continue Support of Scott Beaumont As He Looks To Enduro for 2014 and 2015

National 4X Champion and GB racer Scott Beaumont along team mate Dave Richardson will once again ride for Yeti Cycles UK as the two man team look to expand their racing efforts and schedule to include enduro events for the 2014, 2015 seasons.

Both riders are excited to remain with the legendary Colorado brand as they add the UK Gravity Series and other UK Enduro events to their European race schedule of National and 4X ProTour events.

Riding for Yeti Cycles is about as good as it gets. The brand is iconic and to represent them in Enduro and 4X is a great honour.  After a great start to our seasons last weekend on the 4X bikes, we are excited to get our Enduro season started at Ae Forest this weekend” commented Boom Boom.

Scott ‘Boom Boom’ Beaumont is a rider who needs no introduction.  A 2x World BMX Champion, multiple National 4X Champion and World Cup racer his knowledge and experience is vast having ridden and competed around the globe in both BMX, DH and 4X.  Scott will use his skills to his advantage when he takes to Enduro stage this season backing up his bike riding skills with a high level of fitness thanks to a winter for training.

Joining Scott on the team once again is Dave Richardson who has already come out swinging this season chalking up a win at the Llandegla night enduro race and an elite podium finish in the first National 4X event of the season.  Richardson has been riding and competing on mountain bikes for over 2 decades and is looking forward to getting his national enduro season off to a solid start.

Riding on the ‘EWS and DH World Championship’ proven SB66 carbon for enduro and defending their National 4X titles on their Yeti DJ bikes the team are equipped with the best performing bikes on the trails. “The SB-66c will make our jobs as easy as it can possibly be” said Richardson.  “The bike is amazing and now we just have to focus on riding it fast!  A massive thank you to Silverfish UK for the continued support.”

Both riders are keen to get racing having already started their National 4X campaigns with a 1st and 4th place finish at the opening UK 4X event at Harthill held last weekend and Silverfish UK are looking forward to continue supporting them.  “We’re looking forward to working with Scott and Dave again this season” said Silverfish UK Marketing Manager Pete Drew.  “Both riders have a high level of fitness and are amazingly skilled bike riders, we can’t wait to see how they do in enduro competition as well as 4X this year.”

One of the most professional on the race scene, Yeti Racing UK will be taking their race support truck to all UK Gravity Enduro events as well as National 4X rounds and ProTour 4X events so make sure you drop by and say hello as well as check out their race machines.
