The internet rumour mill has being doing what it does best since news of a yet another new member to the Santa Cruz line up was due in April, but this is no April fools folks, this is the all new 650b Santa Cruz Bronson. Taking lead from being one of the first manufacturers to successfully launch a 29er in the form of the Tallboy and Tallboy LT, Santa Cruz are at it again, this time with the latest wheel size to rock the mountain bike world.

While hesitation exists within the market, 650b marks the arrival of a totally different animal to anything we’ve seen so far and one we’ll all grow to both know and love, whether at first we want to or not… So what are we looking at here? Well, if the studio photos and awesome video are anything to go by, it looks like Santa Cruz are making big wheels fun, again. Available in either a carbon or alloy frame, with those unmistakingly curvy lines and in some of the brands finest colours and graphics to date; the Bronson looks every bit the bike we’ve been patiently waiting for.
