The Shan is where you really see Production Privée’ attention to detail shine through. The Shan has to be one  of most advanced all-mountain, do-it-all steel hardtail frames you can find on the market. It’s the versatile features that allow the Shan to ride in all conditions, where it be; all mountain, enduro, downhill, dirt jump….all with the same bike!

Manufactured  from world renowned Japanese 4130 Cromoly and designed to be used with either a 140 to 160mm fork. The Shan also features replaceable dropouts, with the option of either of 135mm x 10mm, 135mm x 12mm and single speed options.  It has a slack 66 degree head-angle with a tapered, integrated campy style headtube and the bottom bracket is a press fit standard BB92.

548 Direct Mount Stems

Production Privée 548  stem’s were developed last autumn with the help of Cedric Gracia. Three different versions were tested by CG before the final product was selected. Production Privée wanted to create a stem that was as stiff as possible so as to compensate for the huge forces that very wide bars create on current downhill bikes. The 548 Stem is a one-piece design using 7050 T6 aluminum alloy. This material allows for greater design freedom and gives superior mechanical abilities compared with lesser alloys. LG Bars

Production Privee’s range of bars were developed with the help of Cedric Gracia. With different prototypes at the start, each and every one of them was tested by CG. Our final decision went to an 8° back sweep and a 5° up sweep design. Work was also done on the rearward and upward handlebar offsets, measurements not often used. They allow us to define the exact hand position on the handlebar, complementing the backs weep and up sweep angles.

The handlebars are made with 7075 T6 double-butted aluminium alloy. One feature of our handlebars is the markings to set the spacing and angle of the brake levers. Production Privée is the only brand to offer this. Laser etched, it allows for a quick and precise adjustment of the cockpit. On each end of the handlebars, they are marked to allow precise cuts for the riders desired width. The combination of a 548 stem and an handlebar from the LG range, allow you to get one of the most efficient cockpit on the market.

Offset Bushing Kit
