The World Championships in Leogang was always going to be a big deal for Richie Rude and with it being his first junior worlds, the only pressure on the big American was coming from himself and his desire to win. Settling for silver with one more year to smash the rainbows ain’t no thing at all and although Loic took the gold, standing where we were at the bottom of the course when Richie came past was like “holy shit!” – this kid has pace!
