Chain Reaction Cycles’ Michael Cowan has been lucky enough to have a custom chrome finish Scalp built for the upcoming season, and he’s already competed in the first round of this year’s Halo British Downhill Series. Michael will be taking this one-off beauty to other top races throughout the year, so keep your eyes out for it – in the flesh it looks even better! Component highlights on this custom Scalp include Marzocchi 888 RC3 EVO Ti forks, Cane Creek double barrel custom tuned rear shock, Shimano Saint cranks paired with a SRAM X0 rear mech. Formula The One brakes take care of stopping and a Nukeproof Warhead seatpost and bar finish it off.
